The primary game play loop is okay at best but any idea progress is ridiculously forced. The only way to 'progress' is beat your previous score, and the best way to do that is watch more ads. Very, very stupid game, a waste of its beautiful and slick design.

It's just alright. It is fun at first, but after playing a bit you realize that there is some sort of mechanic in the game that deliberately prevents you from getting very high scores without losing and spending gems to revive yourself and continue on. For instance, it is possible to predict what the upcoming tiles will be (i.e. when space remaining is limited, it will always be the least scoring tile), given you analyze the position well enough. I'm at that point now, and it's no longer fun.

It's okay. But it's not very satisfying on the long run. Your chances of success largely fall on what prices you get dealt, and also, the only way to get truly high scores is to grind out the gems in order to clear the board and keep going on high score runs. It's fun for a few plays, but it doesn't have much longevity. Not bad. Worth a try if you like puzzles.
