About this app

A music editor, audio speed changer and pitch shifting app designed by musicians. With Up Tempo you can easily change the playback speed and pitch of audio files on your Android device either independently or at the same time. Useful for practicing fast songs, or those that need different tunings. Up Tempo can also be used as a music looper and audio editor, for changing the talking speed on voice notes and podcasts, or for making nightcore.

Simple controls and clear visuals make Up Tempo easy to use without compromising accuracy. The waveform view lets you quickly see where you are, and allows you to skip to a specific point in a song.

Stuck on a particular section? Precisely set points to loop between. Need more accuracy? Pinch and zoom to get a more detailed waveform view.

Want to come back later? When you have finished a practice session you can save your loop points and pitch/tempo settings to use another time. You can also export your adjusted song.

Features:
- Pitch changer- change song pitch up or down
- Music speed changer - change playback audio speed to a % of original speed
- Music looper – precisely set loop points

Really thorough app for playing music, I've been really enjoying how each song saves different pitch settings you give them, and very interesting that it can play over other media! I wish it was a bit more straightforward with choosing tracks and sort them by most recently added, but unless I missed it, it's not possible. Though one thing I noticed is that it can be a bit rough on battery, so don't use it for too long unless you want to wake up with a lot less battery than you thought you had.

Such a good app! I use it to slow down songs and lower the pitch a bit, it makes it sound so nice. There is one little bug, When I close the app, the song continues playing but it sounds a lot more glitchy. It's not a big problem since I don't listen to the songs while I'm doing something else. Edit: it's been fixed, thank you!

Used to work perfectly fine, now the play function is broken. When I press play from any point of the song (let's say 2:58) it goes back until it's a multiple of 10 seconds (so it will play from 2:50). Tried working around it using markers but no luck. This is slowing down my progress a lot because I need to listen to the same parts a lot of times to figure out the correct notes (I find online tabs to be inaccurate). I hope the dev(s) fix it soon!

Hi, this is not a problem we have seen before. It would be great if you could email us at [email protected] with more details and we will look into what is happening. Thanks.

What’s new

This release adds new undo/redo buttons to the marker editing. You can also now play tracks in the media library before opening them in the app.
