Not very useful. App was able to find my JBL Bar 5.1 Surround. It seemed stuck for a while, luckily I was watching the display on the soundbar and figured it was updating the firmware. App also let me add the soundbar to my Alexa speakers. But that's about it, app doesn't let me control the soundbar in any way - volume, settings... nothing. So, as its name says, only useful for setup.

Constant dropping of wifi. Then it Finally connects. A Month later drops connection to WiFi. Then can't re-add wifi because the app keeps failing...so I give up...try again a few weeks later and then randomly one day it will work again only to drop and then have the same problem. Currently unable to reconnect to WiFi as the app keeps kicking me out during connection stage. The soundbar is good but staying connected to the wifi and app is rubbish so not much good for using to listen to music!

This app is useless. It never connects the soundbar to my home wireless network; it just spins endlessly. I tried clearing the app cache and reinstalling it, forgot all my wireless networks, created a new wireless network on an isolated VLAN with no firewall, 2.4GHz versus 5GHz, connecting via the Google Home app.. and still it sits there and spins, mocking me. Now my new soundbar broadcasts its own Wi-Fi network for all my neighbors to see, and I can't do anything about it. Thanks a bunch!
