I have been a happy subscriber for years. Unfortunately, since the last redesign of the app, it doesn't work properly anymore on my Lenovo Chromebook Duet 5. Used to be no problem with the "old" app. The app runs fine on my Android tablet and phone but a bit of a shame I can't use it on my Chromebook anymore. And no, using the website is not really an alternative because functionality is missing there, like filtering on multiple categories.

Tldr: great app, could use E-Ink optimisations. Lots of magazines, pretty easy to use, great option to make the article readable on smaller screens. However, i'm using an Android e-reader, and this app is clearly not optimized for E-ink displays. And since the team actively reads these reviews: Having 'next page' and 'previous page' buttons that instantly switch pages(no animations) would be a huge step forward in making this app usable on E-Ink.

Very annoying "Enable notification" pop-ups that cannot be disabled in settings! Since some months ago (after one of the updates) I start seeing an "enable notifications" pop-up every time I start Readly. I checked in Settings but I do not see any option to disable this pop-up. Contacting customer support, all I get a "we will let our developers know" (aka: we don't care). That was some weeks ago. Nothing happened. If you want to be annoyed, subscribe to Readly. Otherwise, choose an alternative.
