It's okay but I'm somewhat disappointed that this is just a frame of the web version. It can't generate images and you can't directly send photos from your camera without going into your camera app, taking a photo, opening Lumo again, opening the selection menu, and finding the photo. Right now it's very barebones and I wouldn't recommend it. Please Proton, make this review outdated.

Thank you for your review. Lumo’s capabilities are currently focused on text-based files, although we’re working on the ability to upload and analyze more file types, such as photos, in the future. As a continous Proton user, I appreciate the clean UI and thoughtful, clear replies in Lumo—it’s a well-built app. However, the icon and branding feel disconnected from the rest of the Proton suite (Mail, Drive, VPN, Pass), making it seem like a separate product. A more consistent icon or visual cue would help users instantly recognize it as part of the Proton family and strengthen brand identity. Keep up the great work—big fan of what Proton represents!

The Lumo app UI is good but it needs fix and improvements. Adding a dark mode would be good, and including an option to toggle auto-scroll on or off in chats would be helpful for slow focused readers like me. These changes could make the app more comfortable and intuitive to use.
