It does not listen to the instructions until I finish speaking. I ask Alexa to play a classical piece and I am specific but it plays something totally different and unrelated. Piece it's available on Amazon Music but impossible to get it played on an Echo device. No integration. Volume adjustment cannot be worse. Slider moves to the point of touch and suddenly it's too loud or too quiet. Adjustment happens not as you slide but when you lift your finger up. Not user friendly at all.

Alexa is incorrectly using "away lighting" feature to randomly turn my lights on and off. there are no lights configured for "away lighting" (all unchecked) and "automatically add new lights" is also unchecked and "modes" feature is not configured. IF YOUR LIGHTS ARE RANDOMLY TURNING OFF AND ON AND YOU DIDN'T ENABLE THE "AWAY LIGHTING" FESTURE, RATE THIS APP A 1. FEEL FREE TO USE MY TEXT. THIS IS A SERIOUS BUG OR USABILITY ISSUE.

Alexa still has a long way to go, but it's also gotten better. There's always the paranoia of the devices listening to whomever purchased the Alexa device, either for things that person purchases, in order to market certain things to them. There's also the paranoia of the Alexa device listening in on the purchaser on other, more risqué practices. I, personally ,am too insignificant for the Alexa device to pay much attention to anything I say. Overall, I recommend Alexa for a smart home tool.
