You can't log more than 1 mile a day on free plan, but also you can't buy premium because they have some problems with that. So, the app is completely useless. EDIT: The payment works now, you can even make a one-time purchase of unlimited distance per day logging without the need to buy a subscription. It can pull data from health connect which is nice. Sign-in via Google or Fb would be nice, now you have to create a proprietary account.

Nice app with beautiful scenery. I love that the map shows other challengers, including Frodo. I did the one time payment to have unlimited distance tracking. I do feel like the change of scenery really downgrades after a while. At first, a 10km distance had a lot more changes of surroundings than it does now, over 500km in. Feels a bit like they put a lot of effort in the first part to convince you to pay for the app, only to slacken off later

It's somewhat cool, but there's no interactions with the game other than walking. It's lacking the element of fun. No games, no picture taking or interactive map. Also, the four computer walking competitors move way too fast, making it feel unattainable as well as the expected day of arrival to Mordor is literally an estimate of years. The fastest character is over 300 miles ahead of me. Disappointed paying for the annual didn't open up anything more fun.
