I used to play this game on iOS back in early 2014 and Android a few years prior. I'd say the new update to this game is pretty good, but it might have a bit of a potential to be an incredible update to the entire game if they'd bring back one of the bosses from the previous versions of the game. For example, at times, you'd either face Vector, or Meena depending on the world, and you either had to survive or hit the smaller robots to beat them.

Just got the update today and boy am I disappointed. The graphics have improved and the colours really pop. The design of the areas are absolutely great as well. But after playing the game for almost 5 years as well I'm so disappointed by the fact that I have lost on so many things. Especially the lack of seconds in power ups and when the power ups are given. There is no use for them most of the time and you can no longer upgrade them as far as I am aware. I've been playing the game today a few times and I no longer feel the joy but irritated. I think I will be leaving the game with sadness because I always had so much joy playing with them minions. UPDATE: I decided to give it another try because sometimes it takes time to get used to changes but I'm still very disappointed. It seems there are more bugs, when I want to revive with watching an ad most of the time it tells me there was a failure so I cant. The other day I could play the seasonal challenge because it mysteriously disappeared. Furthermore I'm an adult so let me decide when I make use of a free revive or other "gift"! And where can I find the seasonal market??. To many flaws in a game I used to love so much

I used to play the old version, it was so fun! I was happy to play again but a lot has changed. Now it is just about collecting bananas, didn't have the little challenges in each run, like use the powers a certain number of times, or run a certain distance, or the fights with the villains, etc. Those challenges made the game so entertaining. Now it doesn't even matter to revive, the prizes don't make a difference if you just have to catch bananas. I get bored with one run :(
