This application is intended to help us not forget to pray the Angel of the Lord prayer during the day (in the Easter season, Rejoice, Queen of Heaven).
In the past, the bells of Catholic churches called the faithful to the Angelus prayer three times a day to remind them that God sent his messenger to Mary with a message of hope: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you..., you will conceive and give birth to a Son... .. Mary was startled and did not understand at first, but in the dialogue with God's messenger she understood a secret that surpasses all human understanding. And then only her humble Fiat followed - Behold the servant of the Lord, let it be done to me according to your word.
That was her decisive word for the history of salvation - her "Yes" to redemption. For Mary, God's will was always decisive.
When the Church leads us to reflect at least briefly three times a day on the great mystery of the Annunciation and on Mary's consent and its consequence, it is a call for us to act like Mary. What can be more beautiful and human for a person than to constantly say yes to God's will and joyfully fulfill it?
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux used to say: "The most beautiful word we can say to God is the word yes. Yes to his will."
