The game is a little rough at the beginning but once you get your bearings and a group to play with. The game becomes immensely enjoyable. I highly recommend if you enjoy space type games/strategy. And yes, it is entirely possible to beat players eho spent money on the game as a f2p. Theres no massive paywall or brickwall. But you do have to grind.

A lot of love went into making this. Don't be put off by the reviewers saying too much lag/UI issues. The game is incredibly complex, engaging, and offers a consistently rewarding experience. The developer is always making tweaks to improve the bugginess and most of the complainers are people who have sunk thousands of hours into the game. If they really hated it, they wouldn't have played so much. My only real issue has been that my keyboard only works if the ping is low.

the only game I've ever played that I'll never stop. has it's issues. but you can free to play all the way, community is legit family, developer is often there to talk to and listens or gives events when you ask for them, 10 years I played this and part 1. I'll be shocked if I'm not still playing in 10 more
