When it works, it is good. However, always seems to be a disconnect between my phone and my android auto cable connection. When it disconnects, have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to 'reset' until 30 seconds later, it does it again, and then again, and then again, and [my point exactly]. It continues disconnecting, even though the cord seems fine. Tried other cords too, they're worse than the original one. Is Android Auto aware of Bluetooth and connecting wirelessly?!

the most recent update has been dismal. It insists that "home" is my previous address. I've checked everywhere and that address is not saved as home. the map does not load immediately automatically; rather there is a delay before starting though you can manually press the start button for a map immediately. this is a frustrating and unsafe feature, it is distracting me. also it will not play playlists that I've created and have saved in my library.

Freezes when the car UI takes over briefly. Eg. when I use Drive Select (in my Audi A5 B9 2018). After making a selection, the car UI hands control back to Android Auto and all the apps are frozen until I reconnect my phone. It's happening for years now. Will it ever be fixed? Rated 1 star until the fix comes because this is VERY ANNOYING TO DEAL WITH WHILE DRIVING!
