About this game

Explore the world of Dhayavar looking for your brother Andor in this quest-driven fantasy RPG inspired by old-school classics.

Battle monsters in turn-based combat, become stronger through level ups and skills, choose from a wide range of equipment, interact with numerous NPCs, visit shops, inns and taverns, search for treasure, and solve quests to follow the trail of your brother and uncover the secrets of the powers at play in Dhayavar. With luck, you may even find a legendary item!

You can currently visit up to 608 maps and complete up to 84 quests.

The game is completely free. There is no payment to install, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no DLCs. There is no internet access required, and it can run on all versions of Android from 1.6 (Eclair), so it should run on any device, even low-end oldies.

Andor's Trail is open-source software, released under the GPL v2 license.
You can get the sources from https://github.com/AndorsTrailRelease/andors-trail

If you like the game, you can join others that have already created some of the content in the current release. You can see your own ideas come to life in a game that hundreds of thousands of people have played!

I play andor's trail all the time. I've had several different versions over the years and with this latest update I built a new character to play. everything seems OK, a couple of bugs which I sent feedback about but pretty go so far. I spoke to the developers and its not them, it's me. Now I'm going back into the quest i had trouble with completing and looking for things I did different from previous play. Thanks for the response to my feedback.

A tutorial would be very helpful. The player movement was weird, looked like there was no animation for walking. There also seems to be a bug during create new game for the first time: Andor's trail was unable to load the save game file, the file must be damaged or incomplete. I understand that art, coding, etc. is difficult. Keep it up guys make this game better and smooth, more engaging.

Have you tried turning on the virtual d-pad in the preferences? Andor's Trail is an open source project that's being built by a small group of developers in their free time. We do not create the sprites (art work). We instead use open licensed images. Email us [email protected] for help

Don't be fooled by simplicity of graphics. This is a great game, you simply can (and must) play it for hours until your character is strong enought to proceed to next map. I still find it attractive, eventhough started to play it many many years ago. My first device broke down and had to start from scratch with the new device. And had to that again when that failed too. Have started again so many times, and yet again, fell in love to this game when started it with my latest device. Now I must remember to take backups so I Don't have to start from start again, LOL :)
