This is a great game. It took me about 4 settlements before I got the hang of the game mechanics. This is not a wait-to-play game (building a hut does not take 2 hours of real time). It doesn't have micro transactions and it is not pay-to-win. There isn't a monthly subscription. The only in-game purchase is a very reasonable fee to unlock some features. I'm not even sure what features they are because I immediately bought the game after the first settlement.

There are only 8 scenarios available for free, and then a lot more behind in-game purchases. The free scenarios are basically tutorials, so it's not really a complete game and they are short enough to complete in one day. Too repetitive to enjoy playing again, so I guess if you want to pay to play there may be good content to buy for it but otherwise it isn't worth the download.

As a small company we do need to make money from the game in order to keep on updating it. You are able to play the whole game without getting Premium and then if you want more content, you can get expansion packs.

I loved plague inc, it never got old. and this game is a beautiful addition, gameplay mechanics are great, it's user friendly for people with experience with these types of games (if not there's a beautiful pause button, or if you just need an adjustment period lol) the game greatly reminds me of classic PC civilization, but is completely different and has its own unique story and dynamic. personally I've been looking for a game like this for a LONG time and I'm looking forward to it's future :)
