NOTE ON GPS SUPPORT: Strava depends on GPS for recording activities. In some devices, the GPS does not work properly and Strava will not record effectively. If your Strava recordings show poor location estimation behavior, please try to update the operating system to the most recent version. There are some devices which have consistently poor performance with no known remedies. On these devices, we restrict installation of Strava, for example the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 and the Galaxy Express 2.

Used to work great, but after the recent update a couple weeks ago the app is no longer working. Keeps saying "an error has been corrected" when trying to record trips. The GPS, distance, speed, and routes are all inaccurate. Wish they wouldn't have tried to fix something that wasn't broken. It's also annoying that they're always trying to push the paid subscription on users, even though it offers only slightly more usable features vs the free app did before it became full of errors.

Buggy & expensive. Currently in free trial period. The (huge) cost of a subscription would only be good value if the app was amazing, you use it loads & the fancy features useful. It's not, I don't, & they're not (for me). App constantly nags to get me to do things I don't want to do. In use (cycling), the map randomly resets from North-up to orientation-up, with no input from me, & is often 90deg out! I end up having to interact with little on-screen buttons when riding, which is dangerous.

The redesigned recording screen has a major issue with map orientation. Because the GPS is always wonky, and I live in a city with a North/South/East/West grid, I always have my map on recordings locked to the North position. The instant the ride auto pauses, then starts again - the north lock orientation changes to the bad, fluid version. It's infuriating, disorienting, and I have to remember after every red night or stop sign to re-lock the map North. Please fix this.

What's new

Hi there. We fixed a couple bugs and made some performance improvements, so the app should now be almost as speedy as you. Have fun out there!
