InvSolar is a convenient application for easy and accurate calculation of solar energy system parameters. It helps select the optimal parameters for single-phase or three-phase inverter systems with batteries. The application allows you to calculate the parameters of solar panel strings: you can choose their quantity, use panel presets, adjust parameters, and determine maximum/minimum voltages and currents, panel power, and voltage losses in cables. Additionally, InvSolar enables the calculation of global tilted insolation for a selected geolocation, provides sun parameters, helps determine the optimal tilt angle for panels, and generates graphs of energy produced by solar panels.
The “Inverter” tab allows you to calculate and select the parameters of a single-phase or three-phase inverter system with batteries for Victron or Deye inverters:
- total system capacity;
- battery pack charge/discharge current;
- charging power;
- cable cross-section.
The “String” tab allows you to calculate the parameters of solar panel strings:
- selection of the number of strings in the system;
- selection of solar panel presets for each string;
- parameter settings for each string;
- maximum and minimum string voltages and currents;
- panel power;
- voltage losses in the solar panel connecting cables;
- maximum MPP current for Victron equipment.
The "GNI" tab allows you to calculate global inclined insolation for the selected geolocation of the panels, find out the parameters of the sun, calculate the optimal angle of inclination of the panels, and build graphs of the energy produced by solar panels for the day, month, and year.
