About this app

The application is designed to introduce users to the rich history, attractions and cultural events of one of the oldest Russian cities - Pereslavl-Zalessky. The content in the application is divided into four thematic sections.

Thanks to the "Attractions" section, the application can be used as a navigator for the most interesting places in the city: museums, ancient temples and monasteries, historical and natural monuments, as well as places for active recreation are marked on the interactive map.

The "History" section is dedicated to the past of the ancient city and contains a chronicle of events from the founding of Pereyaslavl in the 12th century to the present day, as well as illustrated articles about the prototype of the Russian fleet tested on Lake Pleshcheyevo by Peter I, the development of railways and unique monuments of ancient Russian literature.

In the "Culture" section, you can learn about the urban legends of Pereslavl, annual holidays and festivals, the role of the city in cinema and the features of the local cuisine.

The People section is a gallery of outstanding personalities whose lives are connected with Pereslavl: historical and religious figures, scientists and engineers, writers and artists. Each is given a separate article with a portrait and a short biography.
