This is a great game. I'm not giving it five stars just from how the ads are working. Example: I load the game, sell a few weapons in the shop, click 'map' then an ad plays. After the ad, I have to reload the save and the weapons I sold are back in my inventory. Progress not saved. I don't begrudge ads in this game, it's that good. I just want them to work with the game, not against it.

Lovely game that brings back my memory of when i first discovered this game as well as their verious others on the DAN-BALL website when i was a kid and i still enjoy playing it now. The variety of classes, weapons and upgrades gives you a near limitless amount of combinations to play with and try. Even though the levels are already mostly pre made and balanced, every playthrough is still a different experiance! I have never really found any other game like it.

This comes from an era of games you wouldn't see made today without bloat. The game's simplicity is the main draw, building up your team with increasingly better items to handle mobs. Having many classes also offers a lot of replay value. My only gripe is how grindy it can be for items you can only get from rarer enemies and bosses (until the late game). It's annoying as it discourages experimentation with your arsenal as items are bound to the weapon they were used on. You WILL need the wiki.
