Awesome app to use! However, it is missing at least 1 important aspect, a major issue that keeps it from getting 5 stars... The major issue is does not have Japanese as a option for languages. Why? What if I want to immerse myself in the Japanese language and learn the specifics. What about the lesson section? It is more of a output method to approaching Japanese but helps more after the immersion (aka input method) process that the app itself lacks. Other issues is unable to turn off captions.

Good news coverage, but bizzarely the share icon only takes you to a page explaining sharing. It doesn't give you a link to share the story with! Only the Facebook, X, and Line buttons work as expected. That leaves out an awful lot of apps. Just give me a link to share in any app, please.

Have to choose my language every.single.time I open the app. Annoying AF. Not optimized for smart phones or tablets (i.e., main menu will not rotate into landscape mode). No resolution options = no HD-quality. Smart TV and mobile app versions are badly pixelated. You invented HDTV! Embarrassing.
