About this game

Hardcore Action RPG offline game

Powerlust is a hardcore action RPG offline game. Based on old PC RPG games. Made by a guy who loved playing them.

Roguelike mechanics.

Procedurally generated dungeons. Optional permadeath. Skill-based combat.

Completely free, no p2w

Micro transactions are just donations with cool cosmetic rewards like camera perspectives (top down, TPP, FPP), camera filters, character customization and bloodbath mode. There are also some qol features like faster unlocks and a shared item stash.

Made by one guy

Hobby project made by one guy (me). I spent quite a few years on it already. No huge corporations involved, unless we count the games like diablo, that inspired it :)

No rigid classes

You can create your own class, nothing is locked, play as a fire mage wielding a two handed sword or a necro archer.

Discord community

Share your builds, get your questions answered and find people to play with on my discord channel! Link is in main menu. You can also use it to report bugs, suggest improvements and see the latest updates.

Tons of masteries, skills and builds

There is a vast number of options to choose from when it comes to spells, weapons, abilities and masteries. You can create a ton of builds and constantly find new ways of crushing your enemies!

Still in development

This game is under ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT, I have many updates planned for it. I'd appreciate any feedback, it will be a really huge help in further development. Check out my twitter for constant updates and share your thoughts via email at [email protected]

Current roadmap for future updates

- Story mode!
- Legendary items!
- Sound/Music redesign.
- Dual wielding.

Features:

- action RPG
- skill based gameplay
- offline game
- hardcore permadeath mode for roguelike fans
- procedurally generated dungeons
- gamepad support

If you're looking for a roguelike action rpg offline game give this a try!
In short it's a diablo like with skill based real-time combat, looting, RPG character builds, procedurally generated dungeons and roguelike style permadeath.

Pretty cool concept of a game and a job well done. f2p, although you can donate/pay for the game to help devoloper out. there's a few things I wish they'd add like each class having there own movement ability. although you can use teleport from illusionist, it would just be nice to have a fire, water, arcane, sheild, pikeman, and so on movements. like sheild being a short dash with +50% block and interrupts an enemy on hit.

Having lots of fun, more that I initially expected. If you like dungeon crawlers and Diablo esque style games, this is definitely worth a try. There is enough interactions within the 'story mode' that keeps you entertained. I have yet to try the dungeon mode, but looks promising. One little gripe I have is with the attack joystick, the sensitivity fluctuates, sometimes it's immediate, sometimes there's a lag, but that could be the operator. Give it a try, shouldn't disappoint.

An awesome game which you can stick a pretty much infnite amount of time into. Being able to control the directions of hits and spells is pretty dang cool! It's pretty fun traversing areas in the story mode. Another thing I really like they added was that clearing out a certain high level area early affected the main quest and was acknowledged by an NPC, it's a very satisfying thing I hope will happen more in the future quests. Still more different armour and weapons would make the game perfect!

Thanks for the feedback! Totally agree. Working on the story mode now, which will have a ton of new areas. Edit: Thanks! Yeah, it was actually pretty tricky to do and test, fortunately my beta testers helped a lot. Can't promise there are no bugs left in the quest sequences, but hopefully it's fine.

What’s new

- Final part of the story mode!!!
- Added a wiki button in main menu.
- Improved tree performance.
- A bunch of bugfixes.
