Good news app, but its return to the start of an article any time I go back after looking at a picture or switch to landscape and back to portrait mode (whether deliberately or by accident). Very annoying. Also, my so-called local news feed is half full of international or national news. not sure if this is an algorithm thing, or just lazy editors of the local BC page.

Cannot flip the phone's screen in all directions for videos. A lot of content is blocked when accessed from abroad. When videos stop, the screen is black and this is confusing, it looks like the screen suddenly turns off, as though the battery was out and when taping on the screen, it is still overwhelmingly black. Please do something about that. Thanks to the team, the journalisim is very good.

Clunky, visually weird to navigate, word wrap fails in spectacular ways on multiple devices, does not allow ease for sharing links without logging in to social media (ie one cannot simply copy story url). ADS OPEN WITH SOUND ON FULL BLAST AND NO IT IS NOT MY DEVICE SETTINGS. Mar '25: multiple devices & half a decade later, it has not improved. Also, news videos don't load. It's not my mobile settings, this is on multiple devices. Update July '25: audio issues are fixed; news vids are not.
