Free version is v limited, but out of desperation i spent the money i currently don't really have. The app could be really great, but i found it to be 1. way too buggy-->VERY annoying 2. Not explaining certain things enough (leaving me confused& frustrated), 3. Making "promises" about the functions that would only work if one has a therapist (like homework). Id like to go into detail so this can be fixed, as i actually think the app could be a real game changer tool for many of us.

This app seemed almost AI-generated at first. It was sloppily put together with grammar and spelling errors throughout along with various weird/lazy design goofs (e.g. In quizzes, "True/False" as a stand-in for "Yes/No" even when that wording makes no sense for the question; Lots of references like "refer to the chart below" but there is nothing there). Last update added "performance improvements" and suddenly 95% of the app is behind a paywall. It was okay for free but not at all worth it now.

This is such an awesome tool for me! I'm a DBT lover and have been since I started DBT in 2019, but I struggled for years to find an effective online/app-based tool to log my progress and skills usage. DBT Coach helps me keep a record of the skills I use in a day, the moods that bring on the need for each skill, and the mitigating activities that matter to me like medications and self-care. I'm even able to email reports to my therapist!
