About this game
Dominoes is definitely one of the most famous board game in the world. There are dozens of rules out there, but three modes are getting most of the attention:
- Draw dominoes: simple, relaxing, play your tiles on either side of the board. You only need to match the tile you have with one of the 2 ends already on the board.
- Block dominoes: basically the same as Draw Dominoes. The main difference is you have to pass your turn if you run out of options (whereas you can pick an extra domino from the boneyard in the previous mode).
- Dominoes All Five: slightly more complex. Each turn, you need to add all ends of the board, and count the number of pips on them. If it is a multiple of five, you score those points. A bit difficult at first but you will quickly get it!

Fives used to reward careful play that served to make the game more challenging. Previously the game rewarded achieving 150 through your own efforts, rather than just collecting your opponent's tile score. Now there's no difference. In effect the heart has been taken out of the game. However, the boneyard has been improved significantly. Also irritatingly, leaving a team you created then returning, seems to lose the ability to change team entry barrier. Also not able to migrate to new phone.

I used to live this game enough to give out Five Stars. Now I'm uninstalling it because they decided to play long ads between every single round. It's ridiculous. And it's the same ad over and over. And the cost of having ads removed is a monthly fee that's so much they clearly aren't serious about having people stop seeing their ads. Bye-bye. I'll find another version from a reasonable company.

This game will literally show ads more than the actual gameplay. Also, it's only 1 on 1, can't customize anything, and you have no incentive to play after a very short time. Trust me, go pick another domino game.
