SOLVE A MURDER MYSTERY AS A DETECTIVE

Play a detective as you track down a killer and find out what drove them to murder. Discover clues, interview suspects, and piece together the evidence to figure out who’s behind this grisly crime.

Use a range of detective tools from guns to a flashlight as you explore dangerous places that play host to the darker side of humanity. Ask probing questions, make insightful observations, or express your wildest desires as you play cop or something closer to a disaster.

STORY-RICH ADVENTURE WITH A CHOICE-BASED NARRATIVE

Disco Elysium’s complex dialogue system delivers a uniquely engaging narrative experience unlike anything else on mobile. Talk to unforgettable characters and see through their lies as they try everything to hide their true intentions from you. It’s your job to pick out the truth from the fiction.

Multiple dialogue outcomes means you can dig deeper into people the more you find out about them. Play the game over and over to see all of the different endings. Intimidate, sweet-talk, resort to violence, write poetry, sing karaoke, dance like a beast, or solve the meaning of life.

CHOOSE WHAT KIND OF COP YOU ARE IN THIS PSYCHOLOGICAL RPG

Improve your arsenal using skill-based character development. Each skill you can level up doubles as a voice inside your head. Listen to them to find hidden pieces of the puzzle or try to ignore them to protect yourself from harm. You can’t fully trust anyone’s advice in this story, especially your own.

Develop your personal style by dressing up your detective in clothes that boost your stats. Tailor your cop even further by discovering wild thoughts that can be put to action using the detective’s Thought Cabinet.

EXPLORE AN IMMERSIVE WORLD WITH A UNIQUE ART STYLE

The world of Disco Elysium comes to you with new incredible handpainted art. The city of Revachol is yours to inspect one beautiful scene at a time. Seek out the details among the brushstrokes that will illuminate the truth.

Move your phone around in new 360-degree scenes that put you right in the middle of the investigation. New captivating audio helps you sink further into the world by appealing to your senses while full voiceover brings every character to life in your ears.

Become a hero or an absolute disaster of a human being.

I've played Disco Elysium a lot & this was close to being a fun adaptation. The art is beautiful and the sound design and voice acting is great but it's just ripped from the OG game. My main issue is, the structure of gameplay is very linear and restricted. You have to play the game a specific way. You're only given a handful of actual choices in terms of where you want to go and can't progress until you interact with everything in a scene. Exploration isn't possible. Wanted to like it, but cant

I have unintentionally softlocked myself out of the rest of the game pretty early on by failing a check several times and having no way of getting more skill points or progressing in any way. While I was actually enjoying this version of the game, albeit most definitely an inferior version cut down for mobile, I cannot give it a good score for such a massive screw up. I paid 10$ for this to just not work basically.

It's a fun port but it's watered down. If you've never played DE, I don't recommend trying the mobile version first. This port is very linear— you can no longer freely explore. If you miss an interaction, you won't be able to go back for it unless it becomes a loose end. Can easily soft lock yourself by missing checks & being unable to explore to gain exp, forcing you to start a new save. Still keeps a lot of the zaniness of other versions but it's not THE FULL experience. Great new art though.
