Learning Kanji has been so much easier with this app! I like the style of the illustrations, the similarities with the Kanji so you can project and remember them easily, the mini challenges and different options to review them are amazing too. So, I'm considering investing on the premium to keep learning and using the app. My only suggestion will be, that they should leave all lessons in the N5 Chapter 1 unlocked (for free) and then give you the option to purchase.

I think the best Kanji learning app for beginners. Cute illustrations, good mnemonics, and it does a good job of grouping them by similarity. I especially love the Look-alike and Compound mini games. Unique way to learn to differentiate similar kanjis and fun to see that you can guess meanings based on kanji you've already learned. I hope they add N3 soon!

I pay about $2 per month for the full version and it's been great for memorizing the meaning of kanji and what they look like. The pronounciations used to have some issues, but they've since fixed these issues when switching to a real voice! Feels like they care and edit the app based on feedback. I still hope they add arrows in the future, indicating the correct pitch accent. All in all its definitely worth the $2 if you dont like the feel of Anki
