When it works, it's great, but that's rarely . Since the update, I can no longer get to live feed, only video clips, and when I go to full screen on the app, suddenly I switch to Chinese characters instead of English....wth?? I think there is a 10 year old doing the programming on this app as his school project or something because we've had nothing but issues for the few years we've had these cameras. Of course, they have only gotten worse with every "helpful " update. Run from these.

the hardware is amazing and the os on the device itself is really easy to use. the app is also really good, but I find that the app loses connection to the devices quite often. which is kindof frustrating because it makes the mobile app nearly unusable. I have 1g optical internet at home and the mobile app still drops connection to the cameras, and the dvr itself. maybe there's something extra on the dvr sucking up bandwidth.

The app is okay, it doesn't detect pets or vehicles that come into my yard, or packages that are delivered to my front porch. Even if the camera detect a human, I play the video playback and I don't see anyone in the playback. The app has a hard time loading video footage. And the notifications keep reminding me that there is a camera display change and that annoying. This app needs to be improved with better detection and less notifications on camera display changes.
