About this app

Brickit helps you build new things with your old bricks.

1. Spread out your bricks and take a photo of them. The app will scan the photo, identifying and counting the details.

2. Decide what to build. Brickit suggests building ideas depending on what bricks you have. Choose from robots, kangaroos, airplane, and more!

3. Build your creations using our step-by-step instructions. The instructions are useful, but you don’t have to stick to them exclusively. We give you ideas, and you decide what to make of them.

4. Find any brick you want easily. Just choose a detail in our catalog, and the app will highlight it in your pile. The bricks you need in the instructions are highlighted in the steps where you need them.

I recently purchased the Brickit app with high hopes of discovering new and creative builds from my Lego collection. Unfortunately, I’ve been quite disappointed with the experience. Every time I scan a different set of Lego bricks, the app suggests the same few models—such as the duckling, mushroom, and other repeated builds. Despite scanning various combinations, I am not seeing any fresh or varied results, which defeats the purpose of the app for me.

Terrible app. I put a pile of probably over one thausand bricks and tried to scan it. The app told me to use more bricks and it showed an example image of how many bricks I should use. I clicked on the image and had the app scan the image but it said that the image they provide as an example wasn't even enough bricks. Other reviews mention bad builds or other issues but for it won't even let me scan. Horrible app. I would give zero stars if I could. Don't get it, it's a waste of time.

major depth perception and lot of the "ideas" are color sensitive and it doesn't seem to care. I haven't been able to build anything exactly like the pattern with the pictures taken. You don't need an app to be creative.

Right, Brickit does not take into account the colors of the details. This is our conscious decision. We believe that this expands the possibilities for creativity and creativity, especially when the user does not have so many details. But we will definitely think about how to make it convenient for all users to use our app.
