Great port of the original in almost all respects. Controls could be a little bigger and spaced a bit wider to prevent control errors. There are some bugs too: in the 'big bird' screens, there are 'dead zones' at the top and sides of the screen where your shots won't register hits.

I can't understand how this game isn't more popular. Pure no-nonsense classic arcade shooter, down to the coin sound at the start. Ads are short, not even playing every time at game over. Longer ads only for continuing games after game over, which I don't do as it feels like cheating lol. I also appreciate the openness about how cookies and ads work. Well done!

This is a SPOT-ON version of Phoenix, a 1980's classic which is SOOO much better than most other shootem up games. Graphics look the same,👍plays well with option for joystick OR left & right buttons for ship movement. Keeps high score, plus continue feature added!!! It would be great to see you do some other classic retro games of yester-year. Maybe Gyrus or Xevious 🤔, for the effort you have put in to this game Phoenix I give you a big thumbs up from me for sure.👍🤠👍
