Colonist is a free online alternative to the challenging social and strategy based board game Settlers of Catan. You take on the role of a Colonist by building settlements and expanding your territory. Colonist combines extremely simple rules with tremendously deep gameplay. Use strategy, planning, and cunning negotiation to win.
You can train against bots, play with friends online, and even compete in our ranked mode for a spot on the leaderboard! We also offer a variety of fun custom maps to play on in addition to traditional expansions like Cities & Knights and Seafarers. You can even play with more than 4 friends with our 5-6 and 7-8 player expansions.
In the store, you will find a wide array of custom colors and avatars that allow you to personalize your profile and show off. Pick a unique color and avatar combination to instill fear in your opponents!

As long as you play an entire game straight through, with no interruptions, no opening other apps, no going to your home screen, and no locking your phone, it all works very well. But if you do ANY of those things, you can kiss your game goodbye. If you're playing other people, that's understandable. But even playing against nothing but bots, it will say, "Your internet connection was broken. Refresh activity to rejoin." And you can't get back to your game.

I've updated to 3 stars because regardless of their claims, the game definitely does pick winners. So many times you'll see one person get 80% or more of the 7s, especially early game. Sometimes it's like the rng picks up that it's picking a favorite halfway through the game, and it's like a switch is flipped and it's pure 7s for the other person to catch up, but far too late. It happens enough that it's a running joke in chats. Please fix this. Also, STILL no stylus support for S24Ultra

Was good but now going down hill.. fast. Playing against other users is extremely slow. Make the turn timer a lot less. Every time there's an update, it makes something worse. The latest update: the card tab just disappears, have to constantly exit and reconnect for it to reappear, then disappear again... frustrating
