About this game
Downwell is a curious game about a young person venturing down a well in search of untold treasures with only his Gunboots for protection. Make your way further and further down into the darkness filled with nasty creatures and mysterious secrets to collect the spectacular red gems scattered about the rocks. Step into precariously placed shops and buy some helpful items or level up between levels to battle well-dwelling monsters and uncover hidden caves filled with riches and relics. No two trips down the well are ever the same!
The Amazing Gunboots - The fashionable and lethal Gunboots allow players to unleash a torrent of firepower on the nasty creatures dwelling in the well and slow your decent with each shot.
Unique Weapons & Items - Get different weapons, shop for peculiar items and obtain powerful upgrades that all stack and affect the way you play!
A New Adventure Every Time - Each level in Downwell is procedurally generated, so no two trips down the well are ever the same providing a fresh new adventure each time!

Even though I really love this game and keep playing it every so often I feel like there should be certain small improvements (at least on my OnePlus 7). Due to the way the controls are layed out my fingers get in the way of what's down and since looking down is most of the game it gets in the way a lot. Even when I move my hands to weird or uncomfortable positions to keep the fingers away the buttons themselves have no transparency and are also partly in the way. If this is fixed, easy 5/5

Surprisingly great game! Fairly difficult to get very far with the small amount of health points your given. Keeps you busy though, starting from the start doesn't seem to get very old with the way the well changes layout every time. Very much worth a try, this game is awesome and entertaining!

The game is absolutely awesome, but it has too many downsides for the Mobile Port. 1. The app hasn't been updated since 2023 which means no more updates whether for better or worse. 2. The game freezes often when passing levels making it frustrating to play to the end. 3. The controls are absolutely rancid. You're going down and without controller support, your thumbs will prevent you from seeing anything until it's too late which is the bane of speedrunners. 4. Why is this Pay to Own?
