About this game

The Russian card game "Thousand" (Тысяча) is a trick-taking game for 3-4 players, using a 24-card deck (Ace to 9 in each suit). The goal is to score 1,000 points first by winning tricks and forming "marriages" (King-Queen pairs). Below are the rules, concise to fit within 2,000 characters:

**Deck**: 24 cards (Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9 of Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs). Card values: Ace (11), 10 (10), King (4), Queen (3), Jack (2), 9 (0).

**Objective**: Be the first to reach 1,000 points through bids, tricks, and marriages.

**Setup**: Deal 7 cards to each player (3 players) or 6 cards (4 players). Place 3 cards in the "prikup" (stock). In a 4-player game, one player sits out each round.

**Bidding**: Players bid to declare the trump suit, starting at 100 points. Bids increase in 5-point increments. The highest bidder becomes the declarer, picks up the prikup, discards 2 cards, and names the trump suit. The bid is the minimum points the declarer must score (from tricks and marriages).

**Marriages**: A King-Queen pair of the same suit scores: Hearts (80), Diamonds (60), Clubs (40), Spades (20), Trump suit (100). Declare a marriage by playing one card from the pair during a trick you win.

**Gameplay**: The declarer leads the first trick. Players must follow suit if possible; if not, they may play any card or trump. The highest card of the lead suit or highest trump wins the trick. The winner leads the next trick. Continue until all cards are played.

**Scoring**: After the round, count points from tricks (card values) and declared marriages. The declarer must meet or exceed their bid to score their points. Other players score their points regardless. If the declarer fails, they lose their bid amount, and others score normally.

**Special Rules**:
- "Barrel": A player at 880+ points must bid to win in one round or lose points.
- "Bolt": Failing to win a trick or score points adds a "bolt." Three bolts deduct 120 points.
- In 4-player games, the non-dealing player sits out but may rejoin next round.

**Winning**: The first player to reach 1,000 points wins. If multiple cross 1,000, the highest score wins.
