edit -extra star after app revision. Good game in there waiting to get out, but it's rather hobbled by the pacing - it seems like its mostly two or three inputs, a handful of responses spanning a minute give or take 30 seconds, then a long wait. Gas station sequence is a prime example of this - played right it could have been a tense, exciting encounter, but because of the start/stop..wait. pacing it was just too disconnected to be invested in it. A valiant effort but could do with another pass.

Hello Martin! We follwed your advice and made some changes to the application including the "wait times" you mentioned. It is now possible to skip all wait times 👍 It would be awesome if you could update your review 😊 Kind regards,

Decent story- but I think playing Duskwood first gave me expectations this game could just not meet. #1 it's short - especially for ANY amount of dollars. #2 just being able to skip to the next interaction, rather than the mini games you have to play w/Duskwood, I don't know, I feel like working for the next piece of the story is just more gratifying. Overall- it was okay, but I still give 4 stars because This style of game is unique && I hope to see more & more!

The writing is okay, if you've never read a book. It's not awful, just lacking in subtlety or complexity. Very much a 'this happened then that happened' story. Has nothing meaningful to say, and little in the way of characterisation. Reading time is around 40-50 minutes, maybe a little more with some skippable waiting around. The plotline is vaguely Season 1 of The Walking Dead TV show, but comes barreling to a close incredibly quickly leaving the actually (only one) good idea at the end lacking emotional impact. Would have liked to have seen that mechanic used more effectively, had the potential to be a real emotional gut punch had there been a more developed and deeper character to care about. Not sure if there's a sequel or similar from the same team, I'd buy it and hope they learned something from this one.
