Activation only takes a moment
You don’t need much to activate the app. Just a Dutch current account at ING, access to My ING and a valid identity document. This can be a passport, an ID card from the EU, an ID card for foreign nationals, a Dutch residence permit or a driver’s license.

If you set a minimum balance notification when below X balance, you won't get a notification if the payment that pushes you from above X to below X is an internal ING payment, like "kosten Oranje pakket" or the "round up and save" and similar (unsure about automatic credit card payments and ING insurance). So you can't rely on this notification as it won't work some of the time, making it pretty useless for now. Also the ING listed email for App Support on Play Store here can't be emailed.

Good morning, the minimum balance notification in the ING app doesn’t trigger for internal transactions like package fees or savings transfers, making the feature less reliable. It’s also unfortunate that the support email listed on the Play Store is unreachable. I’m forwarding this. ^Kirsten.

Hello, I'm writing about a login issue in your app. Previously, it automatically asked for my face/fingerprint to log in, which was fast and easy. Now, that automatic request is gone. I have to manually tap the fingerprint icon to log in. This extra step is inconvenient and seems like a bug, as most banking apps log you in automatically with biometrics. Could you please restore the automatic biometric login? I tried reinstalling the app but it didn't help. This issue began after the last update.

The banking app is great, easy to use and with lots of features. The look and feel is amazing. But as non Dutch speaker, even after setting the language to English, I still get messages , updates in Dutch (small banner at top and when you click the message that appears). Can you please fix that so I can understand the message!
