08/05/25: Updated the app today, and the double-hop feature no longer works: it will not connect to any location I change to, including the original location(s) it was set to before the update). Also, now I can only connect to the internet, 'mostly', while the Kill Switch is on/enabled. Is anyone else having these problems? IPVanish, is this a known issue at this point? 🤔 Thanks. -D 08/06/25 Update: Yes, today's update did fix the issue. thank you for the response. Updated review rating to 5.

Disconnects even though always on setting is set to on. Was working fine until last update. Using on Motorola Stylus G 2024 Important Update August 14 , 2025 . If anyone have the same issue as me , make sure to check your ipvanish app settings and turn on allow for background usage otherwise whenever your phone goes into sleep mode it will disconnect from the server. Sorry Ipvanish I was at fault for not checking all the settings for the app. I changed the ratings from 2 Star to 5 Star.

Hi there, Looks like you are having connection isssues- Please clear your IPVanish app cache and data and then delete and reinstall the app and this should fix it for you. Not sure what's going on with the app lately. Been using it for years. Last few days it won't connect to Wireguard UK servers, takes forever & then connects to US server. However, if I turn off WiFi, it connects instantly to a UK server & then I can turn WiFi back on again. Don't have any problems with other devices connecting to the same WiFi straight away. I've uninstalled & reinstalled, problem persists. Support are not helpful at all, just say they've not come across this.

Hi Nadia, have you changed your credentials recently? that's one of the reasons the app could log you out since it needs to re-authenticate
