Missing some features that I now consider pretty much essential for learning to play properly, the biggest one is to be able to slow the song down. Because this is not possible you're forced to learn in a rushed and Imperfect way, possibly leading to incorrect technique which then becomes muscle memory. Another feature that would be very useful is to be able to scroll to part of a song to try only that section, or when you make a mistake to scroll back and retry it (slower at first).

The lesson quality is mediocre, and because the entire app relies on the microphone, it can be absolutely infuriating to work with if the phone you use is a bit sub-par. I can't recommend it because of that. There's online tools you can go for, or even physical exercise books you can follow.

Everything is locked behind a paywall which isn't even a one time purchase, it's a subscription fee that costs waaaayyy too much to begin with. First of all, you unlock a "course" where the only thing you learn, is basically what you'd expect anyone who ever picked up a guitar to know. Second, the stuff in that course is easily looked up online, which is free. One of the campaigns of this app, is to try and make guitar tutorials unnecessary and make people pay for lessons.
