Replay levels to upgrade weapons to then move on. It's some wicked grind. Do you enjoy grinding? I rather just have the levels be proper and fun with clever puzzles. This could be ideal for kids with too much free time. Not terrible as the gameplay can be fun. But I just don't feel up for endless grind right this moment.

This game is almost a truly enjoyable experience, but it's lacking in two areas. The control needs refinement, as your soldiers seem to do everything sluggishly, making for annoyance at all times, despite everything else being fun. It also needs Google achievements, which would both help keep track of your progress in the game, and give you something to strive for besides beating levels. The control is what really kills the experience though.

The game is fun. Easier with controller but not by much. The issues come from balancing which is at time barely existent. I wish they'd have considered the ability to hold and path a grenade/throwable. Also, some skills, like the recons knockback even with upgrades are essentially useless. The game does require thinking and patience, so death is expected, but often some enemies that one shot you are placed in ways designed to inflate difficultly, like bombers right on the other end of the doors
