UI is incredibly cluttered, with large swathes of empty unused space presented in an uncustomizable ugly shade of gray and no AMOLED support. If you turn off copilot (no one wants copilot), it just leaves empty space in the UI. This nonsense eats up 1/4 of the webpage (way too much) and the constant hide/appear animations are jumpy, making scrolling the web with Edge incredibly unpleasant. I looked into this as a replacement for Kiwi, but the UI makes it unusable as a default browser.

like others, started using after the end of kiwi. experience has been mostly positive, support for extensions is a big plus. built in dark mode works similar to kiwi but needs an AMOLED option. also the animations in the tab selection menu need work. every time it's opened the bottom and top bars flicker which is distracting and takes away from an otherwise mostly fluid experience. update: latest update has significantly reduced bottom bar flicker. top bar flicker remains.

Been using edge/edge canary now for years on Google pixel/Samsung's and always had a shopping coupon come up if available in the address bar for any offer or discount codes, like on a pc. Now I don't have it. Tried edge://flags/#edge-coupons-enable but there's no option for this to enable. shopping. Funnily enough, if I uninstall canary/beta and reinstall, initially the shopping coupon is there but soon disappears again and the shopping icon on the edit menu is greyed out. Why has it gone?
