About this game

Think faster than your opponent in Misère Nim — the twisty version of the
classic Nim strategy game where the player who takes the last stone loses!

🎯 Why you’ll like it
• Clean, distraction-free design
• Quick games (perfect for a short break)
• Offline play (no account, no data needed)
• Play vs Human (pass-and-play) or get AI hints
• Multiple difficulty presets (Beginner → Expert)
• Undo/redo and move history
• No ads, no tracking

👥 Modes
• Pass-and-play: two players on one device
• Solo with hints: toggle “Best Move” to learn optimal play

🧠 How to play (Misère Nim)
• On your turn, pick a single pile and remove any positive number of stones.
• You must take at least one stone.
• In Misère Nim, the player who takes the last remaining stone LOSES.
• Tip: When there is more than one pile with >1 stone, play like normal Nim
(aim to make the XOR = 0). When only piles of size 1 remain, leave an odd
number of 1’s for your opponent.

📦 What’s inside
• Presets like 3-3-3 (Beginner), 5-4-3 (Classic), 7-5-3-1 (Advanced) and
100+ more layouts
• Optional AI move suggestions using the optimal misère rule
• Crisp haptics and accessibility-friendly contrasts

🔒 Privacy by design
• No sign-in
• No ads and no third-party analytics
• Works fully offline

If you enjoy elegant strategy games (chess puzzles, matchsticks, take-away
games), Misère Nim will scratch that itch. Try beating the AI or challenge a
friend and learn the winning patterns!
