the gameplay is fun but I find a couple things ruin the game completely, first of all it's impossible to play as a 1st divison club without setting the difficulty to easy because it sets any team you takeover to be 1 star, essentially setting you up to fail, and secondly if you go on a bad run of form it is impossible to escape due to players getting sent off every game, making no money, and not getting choices to raise morale even when winning

Retro Goal is a great game, but I don't think it gets the love that Retro Bowl and Retro Bowl College get! I'd like to see some more patches addressing some issues and bugs! This game needs to be worked on a bit more! I hope the developers have not abandoned this game! At the very least release one final patch/update to address the biggest issues with the game! Do it for the fans! I bought this game! PLEASE!!

Only fun for the first season. After that, completely rigged if you don't have a top tier team. Headers don't work properly, players only want to go toward the defensive end, meaning you can't pass properly and will almost always get tackled. And manually switching players when getting stripped of the ball is a pain. Also, giving the other team chances until they score is kind of stupid. In conclusion, if you don't want to spend 50 bucks buying in-game currency, don't download this game.
