700 million people can all tell the developer about the same problem and... crickets. It disappears from the status bar and doesn't come back. You can do all the Rube Goldberg machinations you like that the developer and our friendly "advanced" users have meticulously detailed in various tomes, and frankly, it just doesn't work in the status bar. BUT... Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play??

I turn off 'Battery Optimization' (Unrestricted) for this app to allow it to continue working when it is not open to its main screen. I also go into Notifications - settings and Notifications settings - disconnected and set them to Default; I turn on Pop on screen; then I set the Sound to None from the list of notification tones; finally, I turn on Override Do Not Disturb for them both and that helps to keep the meter visible in the status bar by giving it a higher priority.

I'm using Net Speed indicator on my Realme C30 Go Edition, and I must say it's working 100% perfectly. Since the go edition doesn't come with a built in speed meter feature, this app fills that gap seamlessly. It shows realtime internet speed right in the status bar and notifications, which is super handy for keeping track of both mobile data and Wi-Fi usage. The speed display is accurate and consistent, even when switching between apps or networks. This app works great with go edition phone.
