Enjoyed it for a long time, but coinciding with Dungeon Dogs and its throwing of random Ads: Castle Cats is now doing so too. Would have been one thing if in a new game, but to suddenly push those in a game that has been around for years without it? Just not good to do without even announcing and a number of reviews that are high because of the lack of cliche thrown ads are now lies. I simply cannot give a high rating for such tactics. I know the year is tough, but again: Just not good to introduce after all that time on top of the many Ad pushing aspects already inside!! I may decide to get rid of those pop-ups in time, but even then i will let this Review remain at this score. For now. definitely playing a LOT less as i can no longer play during transit out of fear of the Random ads chewing at my small data-plan.

We have announced the pop-up ads arrival both in the in-game chat and on all of our Social media. You are correct, they were added due to COVID-19's severe impact on our company this year, we hope you can understand ❤ Like you say if you buy anything in Castle Cats the ads will disappear (we have items ranging from 1$-100$) 👍

Hey devs, fantastic game you've made. I love the variety of cats to collect and all the little character traits given to all of them. However, the latest update has me concerned. Now I know an app needs to be financially viable to be able to exist, but the new weekly subscription feature has me worried where the game might go next. Also, while making the game more social doesn't impact the game to much right now, I'm also not sure that the direction the game is taking in that department is a good one. So while I'd still say the app is worth your time if you want to spend some time a day on the game, I'll be waiting for the next feature with a mix of optimism and a few worries about the direction the game is taking.

This is one of my favorite games on my phone. The events are long enough to enjoy, they give you more in-game money than most I've played and the event rewards are actually achievable to get without spending a lot of real money. The stories and cats are adorable, letting you edit your own special cat as well. Also their random rewards don't feel rigged, as I've actually gotten some really cool stuff.
