The Alphabet

The Alphabet is a simple, calm and educational app for younger children (3 to 6 years old).

It teaches children the letters of the Alphabet in a colorful, clear and playful way.

Handmade with love by a small independent development team in Sweden.

The Alphabet Features:

- The whole Alphabet, A to Z.

- Hand-drawn, vibrant illustrations with voice descriptions of animals and foods (fruits/vegetables) for every letter of the Alphabet.

- Pronounciation sounds for every letter of the Alphabet.

- English, Spanish and Swedish language options are all included in the same app. Language-specific letters (such as Spanish Ñ or Swedish Å/Ä/Ö) with corresponding words are also included.

The Alphabet has has been thoughtfully designed specifically for younger children. Our lead designer originally created this app for their own child, who had developed a special interest in letters and the Alphabet.

The app has been carefully crafted to be safe and suitable for young learners.

This includes:

- A gentle, soothing pace.

- Simple and intuitive interactions.

- Soft and organic sounds.

- No flashing lights.

- No fast transitions.

- No dopamine-triggering animations, sound effects, or visual elements.

Our goal has been to create an app that truly teaches the alphabet in a calm, soothing, and educational way—just like a classic ABC book. We hope you enjoy it.
