You will get 5 stars when you remove ads. The game is good but I don't like the ads. Ads always ruin games. Ads always ruin the experience. It's a shame to see a good game get ads. The biggest reason I ever remove a game is because of the ads. Also the game crashes every now and then after the ads. That's the only reason I'm talking about the ads in such detail. I'm tired of the game crashing.

It a pretty chill experience, similar to the old earn to die. Seems like its not barred under paywall and enjoyable so far. Edit: On planet Foth, sadly has become extremely repetitive, long and grindy, multiple long runs needed for every single upgrade with an unpromising filler filled generic story. Oh, and ads are now every run not once every 3. Nothing new here, just lost its 5 star rating. Edit 2: Finished the game, very grindy and nothing new. The stories ending is generic.

A lot of rover games are very simple, you upgrade parts and that direcctly controls what you are able to do. Death Rover makes much better use of it's systems. Instead of every map being different terrain, each map has different physics and rover behavior, they feel different and you solve problems differently. None of the enemies do damage, instead they slow you down. Upgrading your gun lets you neutralize the first so many enemies to keep your speed up early. It's all very clever and engaging.
