The app is almost perfect and simple, but there are two issues imo. One, the fingerprint scan doesn't start when the prompt is displayed and it takes the app some time to interact with the sensor, and even after a successful scan, it takes its time to display an animation which is rather long. Two, the amount of icons available for accounts is too low. Support for 3rd party icon packs would be nice

Hi Armin! Thank you so much for your review and suggestions! We'll take them into consideration for future improvements! As for the icons right now we offer more than 200 of them. Do you have some specific ones in mind that are missing?

Keeps nagging me about backups to Google! If I would want my data with Google, I'd just use the Google Authenticator..... No other backup option... Also, I haven't found how to remove an obsolete account. Uninstalled! Added: Yes, I can export and import, but that will not stop the app from nagging me about backups to Google. Update2: I think I've checked it all, and didn't find it. I've definitely must have looked everywhere it logically could be.

Go to Settings, the third section from the top is Appearance (under 2FAS Backup and Security), and inside you'll find the toggle "Google Drive sync reminder" as the second one from the bottom, above "Hide Tokens".

2FAS Authenticator is a reliable and user-friendly app for two-factor authentication. It’s open source, which means greater security and transparency—no hidden surprises. The interface is clean, and setting up accounts is quick and easy. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a trustworthy, ad-free alternative to mainstream authenticators. Peace of mind with open source backing!
