It's not bad, it's a decent time waster. Something fun for metal heads like me. There are a few problems though. Early game is fun and challenging, but a bit too challenging to where the only way to win is to either spend $ or watch every add possible. After you do a few albums it gets really repetitive and boring trying to climb the ranks of sales. More band genres would be a good addition besides rock pop and indie only. I'm not saying to add tons of subgenres but more than three would be nice

Good fun... To start... I don't quite get all the reviews saying that they can't work out how to play it - I didn't watch the tutorial and still got to grips easy enough. Give them bottles to rehearse and write, plus good equipment and recording studios, and they'll make top albums. At first money is tight (speak to any new band and they'll tell you that's true), and you may need to watch promo videos, but what's the harm in that?! Only downside is repetitive after you reach world tour level...

From someone who does this for a living. It would be cool to see and update for members 1-5. Being solo or a band. And record deals pay for things you just go into debt. The beer consumption part is dumb. But the concept of this game is awesome. Played it for years but with nothing new happening or no changes it got old. Also it shouldn't take so many albums or songs to make that many sells.
