Bought a Easee and this Zaptec for our rental, Zaptec is unstable, takes long to connect, fails to connect, no indication of resetting when resetting in app, just press and hope something happens, doesn't charge or failed to charge when firmware needed. Doesn't indicate firmware is being installed, now just waiting and hoping something is happening.

The charger should light up purple when installing a new firmware.

infuriatingly bad. loses connection between every charge, so every time you want to authorize/start a charge you have to log out then back into the app. functions are non existing and even turning it on remotely doesnt work. has been this terrible for years so dont expect improvements and definitely no support. as close to a scam product you can get. buy something else. anything else!

Shockingly bad app. After plugging in, the first thing you have to do is tell it to authenticate. I then have to shut the app down and open it again before that takes effect. I then tell it to charge and I have to shut the app down and then open it again before that will take effect. The notifications are completely unreliable. leave it to charge on a schedule, and it's like a fun game of chance to see if you will have enough charge to go to work the next day.
