In order to simplify access to the numerous secured facilities and also to enable spontaneous use, the Hanover region has transferred access to the parking facilities into the digital age.

You register once at "Umstieg: Aufstieg."

The free "change: upgrade." App of the Hanover region allows you to conveniently reserve and access the system on your smartphone. If you prefer to open the system by card, you can order an RFID card online during the registration process for a fee of 5 euros.
Starting in Langenhagen (Berliner Platz) and Pattensen (Schöneberger Straße), all existing systems will gradually be upgraded with the new technology and new systems will be equipped with it. Bike + Ride is and will remain free of charge for you if you have a subscription / season ticket for the GVH.

In addition to your "standard system", you can also reserve a free space in another system temporarily by booking. You already have access in hand. This is also possible for spontaneous customers.
The Hanover region has received funding from the Federal Environment Ministry for the digitization of the access system.

Bicycle and public transport go well together!

Bike & Ride - that is THE combination of bike and public transport. Perfect for those who don't want to go far to and from the stops. The catchment radius of the bus stops is increased considerably by the bicycle, so longer distances can be covered relaxed and inexpensive.

In order for many people to accept the offer, however, sufficiently easily accessible, comfortable and safe parking facilities are required at the stops. We have been working on this for many years and are continuously increasing the number and quality of different storage options. Both free-standing and covered bicycle hangers or collective garages are produced.
