About this app
weZoom inst is a camera-based magnifying glass to zoom in on things around you. As a low vision aid it extends the functionality and accessibility of basic magnifying glass apps by adding color filter modes, themes, intuitive gesture control and one-hand operation.
The main goal of this app is to support people with visual impairments by providing an easy to use digital magnifier.
The main features are:
• Color filter modes for high contrast (black-white, black-yellow, blue-white, blue-yellow, black-green)
• Adjustable threshold for the color filter modes
• Smooth magnification up to 8x (extendable zoom levels)
• Exposure compensation
• Switch between manual focus and auto-focus
• Freeze of the live video preview (you can still change the magnification level in this state)
• Photo sharing (e.g. with massenger apps)
• Volume key actions can be enabled
• Toogle to hide all other ui elements (fullscreen mode) to use more of the screen for zooming - very useful in combination with the volume key actions

For low vision people, this app has so many viewing options and abilities. You can change the contrast color filter, exposure of the text and I can even move the settings to the left side. (left-handed). No one thinks of that! This app takes the place of carrying a magnifier and it's better anyway. Travel will be so much easier. I'm so glad a reddit user said to try it.

Thank you and congrats to the developer! A very useful and well designed app! It can zoom in/out single handed. Has more options than other paid and intrusive apps in the store. For me its a must install app and easily recommendable to others. A couple of suggestions would be 1) add invert colors (negative) as an optional filter. 2) add optional right or left screen vertical controls, so all menus can be easily be reached single handed (great for large screen phones!)

Works perfectly - allows me to read things I'd never have a chance of doing otherwise. The option to pause works well. The colour filters allow me to invert the colours, so those tricky things on a white background are suddenly clear and easy to read. Once I figured out to touch the screen to focus, the picture is clear. The controls are nice and easy to use. Really useful app.
