What is DGI?
DGI is a sports organization with more than 1.6 million members. Together with the associations, we get the Danes out into nature and onto the field. Children and seniors, beginners and experienced. We believe that you become stronger and more motivated by playing sports in a community, and our activities span many different sports. From street soccer to swimming, from handball to fitness and running.

DGI is a non-profit organization that for more than 150 years has worked closely with the associations to make Danes more active and strengthen the community. We work purposefully to ensure the best possible conditions for the associations. Today, DGI counts more than 6,600 associations and 100,000 passionate volunteers. As one of the country's largest suppliers of courses, DGI makes more than 50,000 Danes smarter about both themselves and sports every year.
