The ads are oppressive. I feel like I get one no matter what I do. Not only that, but for an app geared towards children, the ad choices are terrible. I have had one with a scantily clad woman and one explicitly encouraging gambling. Yes, I am aware that I can do the monthly $5 subscription to get rid of ads. But to be honest, for what this app provides and the state of today's economy, I can't justify another recurring charge.

In short: fun, but not a tamagotchi as you know it. In a but more detail: very cute, and polished, but mostly about the mini games. It's also not an actual tamagotchi as it doesn't let your pet die. You either fulfill a career goal or just keep the adult around. Also, I think I might need to upgrade my phone as this game makes it slow down. And yet it speeds up sometimes in mini games...

Mokokotchi looks like food, each time I see her, it reminds me of a treat. ^.^ Edit: 7 years later, back to it. Now, the notification doesn't lead me to the app when I click it. Unlike all the normal apps. Samsung galaxy A06. Edit: Too fast paced. Being annoyed by notifications every two hours is not nice. I'm automating my phone for the earlier notification issue with Macrodroid. It's a pain hearing my TTS announce that the pet needs me not long after I left them, all the time.
