I like the game play. It's the classic that I remember. It's fun and the guilds add extra gameplay value. However, the castle and troop improvements take a lot of time and diligence to attain enough gold and resources to unlock beyond the first three tiers. As working adults, we don't have the time to dedicate to the necessary level grind. I noticed some others having a similar experience. One of them received an insulting response from the dev team. That is an unprofessional response.

You have found the troop improvements to be difficult and time-consuming. It's understandable that you don't have as much time to play as you would like. It's also disappointing that one player received an unprofessional response from the dev team. Game developers should provide challenging gameplay without requiring excessive time to progress.

It's too hard. Not friendly with newbies. Full of Russians and a lot of veterans in HoMM series so good luck competing with them. 0 chat, communication with others. Seems like p2w especially as you progress further and understand that basic battles have become harder and harder despite having more troops. Sustaining equipment, etc. is costly as are your mistakes. I like aesthetics and art style, but I don't see playing this for long term as by time passing and leveling I feel more weak.

Heroes of Might and Magic fans rejoice. All of the spirit of the franchise prior to its downfall along with online elements, constant events/updates, and a dedicated community that has lasted well over a decade. It does have quite a bit going on, and catching up to veteran players is nigh impossible, but the game is still fun.
